Ingredients:
Broccoli – 1 ½ cup
Onion– 1 (chopped)
Tomato– 1 (chopped)
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 5-7
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Garama masala – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Water – as required
Steps:
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Manual Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add 2 cups of water to the inner cooking pot and allow it to boil. Once boiled add broccoli and again boil for 5 min. Press cancel. Remove and drain.
- Clean the pot and press sauté mode. Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add in the boiled broccoli and sauté for few mins. Press cancel. Remove and keep aside.
- Press sauté. Next add mustard seeds, cumin seeds to the existing oil and allow it to splutter. Add curry leaves, onion and sauté for 2 min.
- Add ginger garlic paste and continue to sauté for 2 more min. Then add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt one by one and mix well.
- Now add in the chopped tomatoes, broccoli and sauté for few minutes until all the masalas combine with the broccoli.
- Finally add ½ cup water and continue to sauté. Once done switch to ‘keep warm or off mode’. Give it a quick stir and garnish it with coriander leaves.
- Broccoli Sabzi is ready to serve with Roti/Chapathi
