Butter Cookies

Butter – 1 cup
Maida – 1¼ cup
Besan / Gram flour – ¼cup
Powdered sugar – 1cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Baking powder – 1½ tsp
Black Sesame seeds – 1/2 tsp ( optional)
Water – 4 cups
Baking equipment – Baking tray line/ Butter paper
First mix the Butter and the powdered sugar well. In a separate bowl sieve Maida, Gram flour, Baking powder together.
Now mix this well this with the above mixture and add Cardamom powder. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Next line a Baking tray with butter paper and grease with Butter or any flavour less oil.
Now make small balls and place them in the greased Baking tray. Add some black sesame seeds on top (optional).
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Pour 4 cups of water into the Robocook and wait till warms up.
Now keep this baking dish on a small steel ring or a vessel inside the Robocook so that the heat is not direct on to the baking dish.
Choose Idly mode in the Menu option and Taste option as Strong.
Close the Robocook. Keep the Presssure Nozzle in the Open position while cooking.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the Cooker and remove the Cookies. Now allow it to cool to room temperature for about 1 hour.
The cookies will appear to be a little soft when hot ,but will turn out to be yummy and crunchy when cooled to room temperature.
