Carrot bell pepper soup

Carrot - 4
Red pepper - 2 cut into large pieces (remove stem and seeds)
Onion - 1/2 cut into large pieces
Garlic - 4 cloves
Olive Oil - 2 tbsp divided
Vegetable - 3 cups Broth or Water
Salt - 1 tsp divided
Bay leaf - 1
Ground Cumin - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Cilantro - 3 tbsp
Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Sauté' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add olive oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add carrots, red peppers, salt and sauté for few mins. Press cancel and remove them from pot.
Transfer the contents to a bowl with the lid on. Shake and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
Clean the pot and press sauté. Add olive oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add bay leaf, garlic, onions and sauté for few mins.
Now add in the roasted carrots, red peppers, broth, ground cumin, salt. Mix well.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Sambar’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 8 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Remove the bay leaf. Using a blender blend the soup to a smooth consistency. Add some black pepper. Once done garnish it with cilantro/ coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
Carrot Bell Pepper Soup is ready to serve with Bread/Corn.
