Chicken Kabsa

Oil – 6tbsp
Onion – 1 cup (chopped)
Chicken – 500gm
Black Pepper – ½ tbsp
Cardamom – 3 nos
Cinnamon Powder – ½ tsp
Cloves – 5 nos
Tomato – 2 cups (chopped)
Carrot – 1cup (shredded)
Stone Flower – few
Nutmeg – ¼ tsp (Grated)
Garlic – 5 nos (minced)
Basmati Rice – 1 ½ cup
Water – 3 cups
Salt - to taste
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add onion, garlic and sauté till onion turns golden brown in colour.
Then add in tomatoes, carrot and sauté until tomatoes turn soft. Add water and mix well. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Add in chicken and sauté till brown. Add Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon powder, cloves, Nutmeg, Salt, Stone flower and sauté for few secs.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Remove the chicken and keep it aside. Clean the pot and add Soaked Basmati Rice along with water to the pot. Place it inside the Robocook.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Rice’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Add the chicken pieces to the rice and mix well. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
