Chicken & Mushroom Creamy Soup

Chicken – 4 pieces of Chicken Drumstick
Pepper powder – 1tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Mixed Herbs – 2 tsp
Butter – 3 tbsp
Olive Oil – 3 tsp
Bay Leaf – 1 big
Milk– 11/4 cup
Onion – 1 big chopped
Mushroom – 6 pieces chopped
Carrots – 2 small peeled and chopped
Garlic – 6 peeled & crushed
Oregano – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder- 2 tsp
Basil leaves – 11/2 tsp
chilly flakes – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - for garnishing chopped
Corn Flour- 1 tsp
Water – 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Marinate the Chicken with Salt and Pepper powder for about 15 minutes.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Olive Oil and Butter to the inner cooking pot and wait for few sec to get heated. Now add Bay leaf,crushed garlic, onions and stir for 2-3 minutes till you see the Onions and garlic slightly cooked
Add the Chicken pieces and stir in for 3-5 minutes so that the Chicken is slightly fried. Then add Salt, Pepper, chilly flakes, Basil leaves and Oregano. Keep stirring for a minute.
Add the chopped carrots. Stir it all for a minute. Now add milk so that it covers the ingredients. You can add more milk if desired.
Add the Coriander and give it a good stir for a minute. Finally add the Corn flour ( diluted in water)
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Non Veg mode under Chicken, with the Quick option.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the cooker and switch to Sauté mode. Stir the soup well for 1 minute.
Stir and enjoy this Protein rich Creamy chicken and Mushroom soup with Garlic bread
You can add more milk and saute for 2 miutes in case you want the soup to become thinner.
Alternately, you can add some Corn flour with water to thicken the soup.
