Chicken wonton soup

To grind:
Ground chicken breast – 300 gms
Green onion finely – 1 chopped
Soy sauce – 1/4 tsp
Rice wine – 1/2 tsp
Ginger– 1 tsp chopped
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Wonton wrappers – 20
For soup:
Chicken stock – 3 cups
Green onion - 1 (cut on diagonal)
Thin slices of ginger – 3
Sugar – 1/8 tsp
Carrot – 2 tbsp chopped
Spring onion – 1 tbsp
Soy sauce – 1/8 tsp
White pepper – 1 pinch
Oil – 2 tbsp
To a food processor, add chicken, chopped green onion, soy sauce, rice wine, ginger, sugar and pepper. Pulse until the meat is ground and comes together as a ball.
Transfer meat ball to a bowl. Keep aside.
On a clean surface or cutting board, arrange the wonton wrappers. Have a small bowl of water nearby.
Place 1/2 teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton. Wet 2 edges of the wonton and fold the opposite corner to meet the wet edge to make a triangle.
With the wet corner facing away from you, bring the left and right corners around to meet at the bottom, press together. Use water to help them stick. Once done set aside.
Follow the same procedure for the other Wonton wrappers as well.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil into inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add ginger , carrot and saute for 1 min.
Then add chicken stock,1 cup water and mix well. Following it add sugar, soy sauce, black paper powder one by one and stir well. Open cook for few mins.
Now add the stuffed wonton and open cook for another 10 mins. Stir in between without breaking the wontons. Once cooked, Switch to Keep Warm or Off mode. Finally garnish with spring onions.
Hot and tasty Chicken Wonton soup is ready to serve!
