Semolina – 1/4 cup
Coarse whole wheat flour – 1 cup
Milk – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1 cup
Ghee – 5 tbsp
Almond – 2 tbsp
Cashew – 2 tbsp
Powdered sugar – 5 tbsp
Green cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Saffron – 7 to 8
Add whole wheat flour, semolina, ghee to a bowl and mix well. Add milk and knead to make stiff dough. Keep aside for 5 min.
Shape each dough portion with your fist and press with your fingers in the centre of each portion to make an indentation.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 5 tbsp ghee to the inner cooking pot and allow it to melt. Add few dough portions at a time and fry for few secs. Switch off the Robocook.
Transfer the fried dough pieces to a bowl. Add them to a blender and once cooled, grind to make a fine powder.
Add the ground powder, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, ghee, almonds, saffron, cashews one by one to a bowl and mix well. Finally garnish with saffron and dry fruits.
Yummy Churma is ready to serve with Dal bati as a dessert.
