Creamy White Sauce Baked Pasta

Water – 6 cup
Salt – 1tsp
Pasta or elicoidali or penne – 2 cup
Oil -2 tbsp
Garlic - 3 clove (finely chopped)
Onion - ½ (chopped)
Carrot - ½ (chopped)
Capsicum - ½ (chopped)
Sweet corn – 3tsp
Pepper -½
Salt - ½ (chopped)
Butter - 2 tbsp
Maida / plain flour - 3 tbsp
Milk - 2 cup
Pepper (crushed) – 1/2 tbsp
Chilli flakes - ½ tbsp
Mixed herbs - ½ tbsp.
Salt – ½ tbsp
Cheese - for garnishing
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 6 cup water and 1 tsp salt. Once the water comes to a boil, add 2 cup pasta. Boil for 7 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked. Drain off the pasta and keep aside.
Clean the saute mode. Add 2 tbsp oil to the pot and saute 3 clove garlic. Add onion, carrot, capsicum and sweet corn. Saute for a minute or until vegetables shrink slightly yet remain crunchy.
Further, add pepper and salt. Saute well until the spices are well combined. keep aside to prepare white sauce for pasta.
Clean the Robocook pot. In saute mode add butter, maida and saute until the maida turns aromatic yet do not change its colour. Now add 1 cup milk and mix well until the sauce thickens without forming any lumps.
Now add 1 more cup of milk and continue to stir continuously. Mix continuously, until the sauce thickens. Cook until the sauce turns silk smooth and creamy texture.
Now add pepper, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, salt and mix well making sure everything is well combined. Add in saute vegetables and combine well.
Next add boiled pasta and mix gently. Add 2 tbsp of boiled pasta water if the sauce thickens. Finally, just before serving white sauce pasta, garnish with grated cheese.
