Ingredients:
- milk warm - ½ cup
- sugar - 1 tsp
- dry yeast - 1 tsp
- Maida / plain flour / all-purpose flour - 2 cups
- baking powder - ¼ tsp
- butter - 2 tbsp room temperature
- pinch of salt
- water - ½ cup
- milk - 3 tbsp
- oil to grease
Steps
- Firstly, activate yeast by adding milk and sugar in one bowl.
- Now add Maida, baking powder, butter and salt in other bowl and mix well.
- Combine and knead to smooth dough adding water as required. Grease, cover and rest for 1-2 hours.
- Punch the dough and roll slightly thick using rolling pin.
- Now with the help of donut cutter, cut round and allow to rest in warm place for 2 hours.
- Place the Fryo on top of the Robocook and set the steam rack inside the cooking pot.
- Place the Fryo on top of the robocook and connect the power cord. (Do no connect the robocook). Press the ‘POWER’ button & set the temperature to 215⁰. Press 10 minutes timer to preheat the pot. Now press “PLAY” button & wait for 10 mins.
- Meanwhile place the aluminium foil, then place the donut in the basket. After the preheat, place the basket in steam rack.
- Place the Robocook Fryo on top and move down the handle to start. Now set the temperature at 215⁰C along with 7-8 min timer and press “PLAY” button.
- Built with Air Blast Technology the Robocook Fryo optimizes the energy usage and starts its ultra-fast cooking.
- Pause the Fryo at 3.5-4 mins, now flip the donut using tongs. Once done resume the timer using “play” button and wait for another 3.5-4 minutes.
- Airfry the donut to golden brown. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound. Pull the handle and remove the Fryo lid from the Robocook.
