Dry Prawn Sambal

Dried prawn – 250gm
Oil – ½ cup
Dried red chilli paste – 10 chilli’s
Tomato – 3 chopped
Small onions – 8 chopped
Garlic – 8 cloves
Salt – to taste
Water – ½ cup
Take a bowl and soak 10 dried red chilli’s in hot water for 30 minutes and grind it to a fine paste using a blender.
Add tomato, small onion, garlic cloves to the mixer grinder and grind it.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the sauté́ button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add the prawn and saute for 6-8 minutes. Remove from the pot and keep it aside.
Now add red chilli paste and saute for few minutes. Further add in tomato paste, water, salt and mix well. Open cook for about 10 minutes. Stir in between.
Add the prawns and cook until you get thick consistency. Once done, switch to keep warm or off mode.
Serve the dry prawn sambal with steamed rice.
