Dum Makai Masala

Oil – 5 tsp
Corn – 1 cup
Capsicum – 1 cup finely chopped
Onion – 1 cup finely chopped
Garlic – 8 cloves finely chopped
Ginger – 1 inch finely chopped
Green Chilli – 2 finely chopped
Lemon Juice – 2 table spoon
Tomato Puree – 1 cup
Cashewnut Paste – 2 tsp
Paneer cubes – 20
Red Chilli Powder – 1tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Amchur Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat bit. Add cumin seeds, onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli, capsicum one by one and sauté till the onion turns translucent.
Next add tomato puree and Cashewnut paste. Stir and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add red chilli powder, Coriander powder, Amchur powder, Garam Masala, Turmeric powder, salt and continue to saute for 5 minutes
Now add Corn, Lemon Juice and Paneer one by one. Stir well and add water. Press cancel to stop saute.
Press the ‘Gravy’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 8 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARMmode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give a quick stir.
Serve Dum Makai Masala with pulav or rottis.
