Ingredients:
For pakora
Eggs – 4
Gram flour – 1 cup
Salt – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Oil – 1 cup
For green chutney
Coriander – 1/2 cup
Mint leaves – 1/2 cup
Green chilli – 4-5
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Water – 4 tbsp
Steps:
- Add coriander, mint leaves, salt, chat masala, lemon juice, cumin powder, green chilli, water to a blender and grind to prepare green chutney. Keep aside.
- Add gram flour, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, asafoetida, cumin seeds, water to a bowl and mix well to make a thick batter for pakoras.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the manual Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add water to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add eggs and let it boil for 6-7 min. Press cancel to stop sauté. Remove boiled eggs and keep aside.
- Cut eggs into halves. Apply green chutney on one part and cover it with another part.
- Clean the pot and press sauté option. Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Coat the eggs with batter and add to the pot. Fry them until they turn golden brown in colour. Follow the same for rest of the eggs. Once done, switch off the Robocook.
- Serve hot and crispy egg pakoras with green chutney as a snack.
