Fish Finger

Fish fillet - 500 gm
Garlic - 10 cloves
Ginger - 1/2-inch piece
Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Green chilli sauce - 2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 full
Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
Egg white - 1
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
Oil - as required
Cut the fish fillets into thick fingers. Crush some garlic and ginger in a mortar & pestle and set aside.
In a bowl add dry fish fingers, ginger-garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, green chilli sauce, salt, red chilli flakes, lemon juice, tomato ketchup, egg white, corn flour one by one and mix well to combine.
Add breadcrumbs to a plate and roll the fish fingers in it thoroughly. Apply some pressure to the rolls to prevent the crumbs from separating while frying.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Then add the fish fingers and fry it for 2-3 mins. Make sure not to break the fish fingers with spatula.
Fry till fish fingers turn golden in colour. Once done, switch off Robocook. Transfer the fish fingers to a paper lined bowl.
Crispy fish fingers are ready to serve hot with mayo and tomato sauce.
