Ingredients:
Broken wheat (soaked for 2 hrs) – 1 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Green cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Cashew nuts – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Jaggery – 1 cup (grated)
Milk – 3 cups
Water – 1 cup
Steps:
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add ghee to the inner cooking pot and allow it to melt. Add soaked lapsi and sauté till it turns aromatic.
- Add raisins and continue to sauté for a min. Next add green cardamom powder, cashew nuts and mix well. Add jaggery and open cook for a min.
- Now add water and stir continuously for 3-4 minutes. Then add milk and gradually stir for 5-6 min. Once the consistency is achieved, switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Finally garnish with dry fruits.
- Serve yummy Gehu Ki Kheer as a dessert.
