Cauliflower- 1 No (Big)
Methi (Fenugreek) leaves – 1 Bunch
Onion – 2 Nos
Tomato-2 Nos
Ginger – 1 Inch
Garlic-10 cloves
Coriander leaves- to garnishing
Lemon juice – ½ Lemon
Sugar – 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 Tbsp
Cumin powder-1 Tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
Cooking Oil – 50 gms
Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1 Tsp
Salt-to taste
Cut the cauliflower florets and wash in hot water. Grind ginger and garlic into fine paste.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add Mustard, cumin and let it splutter. Add chopped onions and sauté till translucent. Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes off.
Next add tomatoes and sauté till it becomes mushy. Add Turmeric, Red Chilli, Coriander, cumin powders one by one and sauté for 2 minutes. Further add Cauliflower, Methi leaves, salt, sugar one by one & sauté for 2 minutes. Add some water to avoid burns. Mix well. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Add lemon juice and stir well. Garnish with coriander leaves. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Serve gobhi Methi subzi hot with rottis.
