Brinjals - 2 nos cut into chunks & immerse in water
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli - 1
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Water - 2 to 2-1/2 cups
Oil - 3 tsp
To Grind to a paste:
Red chillies - 4 to 5
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
