Jowar Rava Idly

Jowar rawa - 1/2 cup soaked in water
Suji rawa - 1 cup
Ghee
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Black gram dal - 1/4 tsp
Bengal gram dal - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - handful
Curd -1 cup
In a bowl mix the Jowar rawa, Suji rawa, Curd, Salt and water to a batter like consistency. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Ghee to the inner cooking pot and wait for few sec to get heated. Now add Cumin seeds & wait till they splutter. Then add Black gram dal, Bengal Gram dal, Curry leaves and saute.
Transfer this tampering into the Batter bowl.
Add water into the Cooker and let the water heat for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile take the Idly plates and grease with Ghee. Pour the batter into the Idly plates.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Menu as Idly option with the taste option as Quick option
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the cooker and switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Remove the Idly container and remove the Idlis.
Enjoy these comforting Idlis with Sambhar or chutney.
