Ingredients
Black gram – 2 tbsp
Green gram – 2 tbsp
Chickpea – 2 tbsp
Field bean – 1 tbsp
Soybean – 2 tbsp
Field pea – 2 tbsp
Garden pea – 2 tbsp
Cowpea – 2 tbsp
Rice bean – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 chopped
Tomato – 1 chopped
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Steps
Wash Black gram, Green gram, Chickpea, Field bean, Soybean, Field pea, Garden pea, Cowpea, Rice bean and soak for 6 hrs. Later cover with cloth, store in a warm place for a night and allow it to sprout.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add ginger garlic paste, onion and saute until it turns translucent.
Next add the sprouts mixture along with 4 cups of water to the pot. Mix well and open cook for few mins. Add tomato, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and give it a mix. Press Cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Dal/chana’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 20 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Healthy Kawati soup is ready to serve!
