For marination
Prawn – 350gm
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
For curry preparation
Coconut oil - as needed
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Green chili - 6
Curry leaves - as needed
Garlic - 10 chopped
Ginger -2 tbsp. Chopped
Shallots - 10 chopped
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tbsp
Chili powder - 3/4 tsp
Kudampuli - 5-6 soaked
Water - as needed
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the sauté́ button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add mustard seed and let it splutter. Later add fenugreek seeds, dry red chilies and saute for few seconds.
Next add green chilies, curry leaves and saute them well till they turn crisp. Further add ginger, garlic and saute them till it turns golden yellow in color.
Now add shallots, salt and saute for 5 minutes. Add kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, chili powder one by one saute until the raw smell goes.
Add soaked kudampuli along with water and stir cook gravy becomes thick.
Finally add marinated prawns in it and cook it for few minutes. Give a quick stir. Switch to keep warm or off mode.
Serve the ‘kudampuliyittachemmeen curry’ with steamed rice.
