For paste
Oil – 1tbsp
Jeera – 1tsp
Cardamom – 2
Onion – 3
Tomato – 5
Garlic – 10
Ginger – 1inch
Coriander powder – 1tbsp
Chilli powder – 1tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2tsp
Kasmiri chilli – 6
Salt – as required
For gravy
Oil – 2tbsp
Jeera – 1tsp
Ginger – 1tsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 3no (chopped)
Garlic – 1/2cup (chopped)
Onion – 1no ( chopped)
Curd – 1/4cup
Garam masala – 1tsp
Kasthuri methi – 1tsp
Cream – 3tbsp
Butter – 1tbsp
Salt – as required
Coriander leaves – 2spring (chopped)
Paneer – 1/2kg
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add jeera, cardamom, garlic, ginger and sauté for few secs. Add onion, tomato and sauté until onions turn translucent.
Add in coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric, kashmiri chilli, salt one by one and sautéuntil the masalas get combined.
Add 1/2cup water, mix well and allow it to boil for 5-7 minutes. Press Cancel to stop sauté. Transfer the contents to a bowl, allow it to cool and grind it to a fine paste using blender.
Clean the pot. Press sauté. Add oil, jeera , ginger, green chilli, onion, chopped garlic and sauté for few mins.
Next add the ground masala and open cook for 5-6 mins. Stir inbetween. Add garam masala, curd, kasthuri methi , mix well and cook for few more minutes.
Then add cubed paneer, cream and butter . Mix well and continue to cook for 5mins. Finally add coriander leaves and give a quick stir. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Serve hot Lasooni Paneer with rottis.
