Ingredients :
For noodles ball:
Butter -1 tsp
Water 1½ cup
Maggi tastemaker 2 pack
Maggi noodles 2 pack
Onion - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Carrot - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Cabbage - 2 tbsp(finely chopped)
Capsicum - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Spring onion - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Chilli sauce- 1 tbsp
Salt -½ tsp
Corn flour- ½ cup
Maggi noodles - 1 pack - (for outer layer)
Oil -for frying
For manchurian gravy:
Garlic -2tsp (finely chopped)
Ginger -2tsp (finely chopped)
Chilli -1 (slit)
Spring onion- 2 tbsp (chopped)
Onion -½ cup
Capsicum -½ cup (cubed)
Tomato sauce -2 tbsp
Vinegar -2 tbsp
Soy sauce -2 tbsp
Chilli sauce -1 tbsp
Pepper powder -2 tbsp
Salt -2 tbsp
Corn flour -2 tbsp
Water- ½ cup
Steps:
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 1½ cup water and 2 pack maggi tastemaker. Mix well allow it to boil. Crush 2 pack of maggi noodles into boiling water. You can use noodles of your choice.
Mix well and boil for 5 minutes or until noodles are cooked well. Do not overcook noodles, as it turns mushy. Press cancel once done. Cool completely, and transfer to a large bowl.
Clean the pot and press saute mode. Add onion, carrot, cabbage, capsicum, spring onion, ginger garlic paste, chilli sauce, salt and mix well.
Next add ½ cup cornflour and mix gently. Mix well forming a soft dough. Make sure not to mash the noodles. Press cancel and allow it to cool.
Grease hands with oil and prepare ball-sized manchurian balls. Coat with crushed maggi to get an extra crispy bite.
Clean the pot and press saute. Add oil and allow it to heat. Deep fry the bolls in medium hot oil, keeping flame on medium. Stir occasionally, and fry until the balls turn golden brown. Drain off and keep aside.
Remove the remaining oil and saute garlic, ginger, chilli, spring onion, onion, capsicum and stir fry on high flame.
Next add tomato sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, chilli sauce, pepper powder and salt.Mix well until the sauces are well combined.Further, add cornflour slurry.
To prepare cornflour slurry, mix 2 tsp of cornflour in ½ cup water. Mix continuously, making sure the sauce thicks and turns glossy. Pour in 1½ cup water and mix well. Stir and boil until the sauce thickens slightly.
Drop in prepared noodle balls and mix well. Boil for a minute until the flavour is well absorbed.
