Rava / semolina- 200 gms
Bengal gram flour/ besan- 100 gms
Green peas – 200 gms
Carrot -50 gms
Cauliflower- 50 gms
Tomato-2 nos
Lemon – 1 no
Green chilli- 3 nos
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Curd – 100 ml
Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Salt- to taste
Grind green peas, coriander leaves, green chillies and lemon juice using a blender.
Add the ground green peas mixture, carrot, cauliflower, rava, bengal gram flour, curd, baking soda, salt to a bowl and prepare a thick batter.
Cover and rest the batter for 15 minutes. The batter should be thick like idly batter.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button.
Add 1 ½ glass of water to the inner cooking pot. Place a small cup or stand inside the cooker containing water. Place the batter container in the cooker.
Place the closing lid over the top, turn and place the pointer in ‘CLOSE’ position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ position.
Press the ‘Idly’ pre-set menu button in the robocook and select Medium. Pic technology pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After pre-cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 beep sound and automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get natural pressure release (or) it can be released manually by pulling ‘up’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now twist and open the cooker. Let it cool down completely and de-mould it. Cut into pieces. Switch to keep warm or off mode.
