For cooking
Mutton – 1/2 kg
Ash guard – 1 no (peel and cut into small pieces)
To grind
Coriander seeds – 3 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Dried red chilli – 4 no
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Onion – 1 chopped
Garlic – 4 no
Salt – as required
Bayleaf – 1 no
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add ash guard with salt, turmeric, required water into the inner cooking pot. Let it open cook until ash gourd turns soft. Press cancel.
Clean the pot. Press sauté. Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, pepper, dried red chilli for few mins. Allow to cool by transferring it to a plate.
Next add coconut along with onion to the pot and continue to roast for few mins. Press cancel and grind it to a paste in a blender along with roasted spices. Keep aside.
Clean the pot. Press sauté. Add mutton to the inner cooking pot and sauté for few mins.
Then add in the ground masala, water, salt and give it a mix. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Mutton’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 40 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to saute mode.
Finally add the boiled ash guard and cook for another 3minutes. Mix well. Once done, switch to Keep Warm or Off mode.
Serve tasty Mutton Polov with rice or roti.
