Mutton Spicy Pulav

Mutton - 500 gms
Curd - 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cooking Oil - 2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1tsp
Cloves - 3
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Cardamom -3
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Dry red chillies - 6
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tsp
Cooking Oil - 2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Cardamom - 3
Cloves - 3
Bay leaf - 2
Mace - 1
Star Anise - 1
Onion - 2 sliced
Basmati Rice - 1&1/2 cup soaked in water for 20 minutes.
Green Chillies - 3 slit in the middle
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Water - as required
Keep the Mutton soaked in Salt for 30 minutes. Then marinate the Mutton in 3/4 cup curd, salt, Ginger garlic paste for 1 hour and keep aside.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add all the Ingredients marked under for grinding and saute for about 5-6 minutes. Later grind them into a paste by adding the required amount of water.
Continue in the Saute mode and add 1 tsp of Ghee & 2 tsp of Cooking Oil to the cooking pot. Next add 1/2 pinch of Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Bay Leaf, Mace, Star Anise and fry.
Then add Onions, Green chillies and saute for about 5 minutes till the Onions turn to golden brown in colour. Now add Coriander leaves, Mint leaves and stir. Next add the Chilli powder, Ground masala and fry for some time.
Now add the marinated Mutton and saute for about 4-5 minutes. Finally add 350 ml of water. Now close the Cooker and Cancel the Saute mode.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Meat pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 40 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods. Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
Switch to Sauté mode. Remove the Mutton pieces from the gravy and set aside.
Now add Basmati Rice and salt. Add water into the Cooker such that we make a consistency of 1 cup of Rice and 1and 3/4 cup of the existing gravy. Stir well and Cancel the Saute mode.
Press the ‘Pulao pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.

Switch to Saute mode. Add the mutton pieces and stir well. Finally Garnish it with coriander leaves.
