Pakistani Biryani

Mutton - 500gm
Oil - 200gms
Tomato – ½ kg (chopped)
Ginger – 3 inches
Garlic – 10 cloves
Green Chillies – 4 (ground paste)
Potato – 2 (diced)
Onion – 300gm (chopped)
Red Chilli powder - 2tbsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Black Pepper Corns – 1tsp
Cinnamon Sticks - 1
Green Cardamom - 2
Star Anise – 1 flower
Cloves – 3
Garam Masala – 1tbsp
Green Mint Leaves – handful
Coriander – handful
Lemon – 1 (sliced)
Basmati rice - 4 glasses (soaked)
Green Mint Leaves - handful
Green Coriander Leaves - handful
Bay Leaves - 2
Water – 4 cups
Curd – 1 cup
Salt - 2tbsp
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add tomatoes and sauté till they turn soft. Add onion and continue to sauté until they turn pink.
Next add Ginger, Garlic, Green chilli paste, salt and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the raw smell goes.
Add in cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, pepper corn, star anise, cinnamon, bay leaf one by one and sauté for few mins.
Now add coriander powder, Garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder one by one and mix until masalas get combined.
Later add in water, potato, mutton, curd and stir for a min. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Meat’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and set timer for 30 mins. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 30 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon, basmati rice, water and give a quick stir.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Rice’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
