Paneer Pudhina Kofta Curry

For making kofta
Paneer – 400 gms
Pudina or mint leaves – 1 bunch
Roasted bengal gram flour- 4 tbsp
Corn starch- 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Jeera powder – 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Cooking oil – 200 gms
For making Gravy
Onion – 2 nos
Tomato puree - 4 nos
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Jeera powder – 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Star anies – 2 nos
Cloves – 4 nos
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Salt-to taste
Wash & Clean the mint leaves.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add mint leaves and saute for 2 minutes. Press cancel.
Remove them. Let it cool down completely and grind the pudhina leaves.
Grate the paneer. Add the pudhina paste with them and mix together.
Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli, coriander powder, jeera powder, roasted bengal gram flour, salt one by one to the mixture. Make them into big lemon sized balls
Clean the pot. Select “saute” option.
Add 200 ml cooking oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Dip the koftas into the corn flour batter and fry them.
Fry all the koftas and keep aside.
Remove the oil used for frying the koftas from the cooker by leaving only 2 table spoons in the cooker.
Add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Add cinnamon, star anise and cloves and mix well.
Add onions and sauté till it becomes translucent. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree. Mix well.
Add add turmeric, chilli, jeera, dhaniya, garam masala powders one by one and cook till the oil separates.
Add 250 ml of water and cook for 2 minutes.add the fried koftas and switch to keep warm or off mode. Mix well.
Serve the paneer pudhina kofta curry with roti.
