Red Pumpkin – 500 gms
Coconut Oil – 2 tablespoon
Coconut – Half shell
Green Chillies – 3 Nos
Red chillies – 2 Nos
Asafoetida – 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ Tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 Isp
Urad dal – 1 Tbsp
Milk – 150 ml
Jaggery – 25 gms (optional)
Curry Leaves – few
Salt – To taste
Cut Red Pumpkin into small cubical shape. Grind coconut, red chillies & green chillies in to a fine paste.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 2 Tbsp of coconut oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit.Add mustard seeds, urad dal and let it splitter.
Add Asafoetida, curry leaves and saute for few secs. Now add chopped Red pumpkin and saute for 1 minute. Add turmeric powder and 50 ml water. Stir well and press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium with 5 min timer. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 5 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARMmode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Saute mode. Add ground coconut ,chilli paste& salt to taste. Let it boil for 2 min. Now add milk & jaggery (optional). Stir for 2 mins. Switch off& garnish with curry leaves.
Mix well before serving it with hot rice.
