Ingredients:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Butter divided - 6 tbsp
Kashmiri chilly powder - 1.5 tbsp
Pav Bhaji masala divided - 2.5 tbsp
Medium size tomatoes – 8 chopped roughly
Tomato puree- 1 ¼ cup
Finely chopped onions -1.5 cups
Garlic minced - 12 cloves
Medium-sized potatoes -3 peeled and cubed
Capsicum - 1 cup chopped
Cauliflower florets - 1 cup
Grated beetroot -1 medium size
Green peas- 1 ½ cup.
Water- 1 cup
Salt to taste
For topping/side
Coriander leaves - finely chopped
Lemon wedges
Onions - finely chopped onions
Dollops of extra butter
Steps:
- Switch ON the Robocook, Press sauté, and let the cooker gets hot
- Add oil and butter to the inner cooking pot. Then add in onions and stir until translucent.
- Add in minced garlic, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, tomatoes, and stir for few seconds. Now add 1 cup of water and deglaze the pot.
- Then add potatoes, capsicum, cauliflower florets, grated beetroot, green peas, tomato puree, and saute. Finally, add water and press the cancel button to stop saute.
- Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in the ‘Close’ position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and the Pressure release button should be in ‘DOWN’ Position.
- Press the ‘Gravy’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select strong. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
- After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
- Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both methods
- Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Press saute option and add butter, reserved pav bhaji masala. Give it a quick mix and let the bhaji cook for 3-4 mins.
- Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Transfer and smash the bhaji with a potato masher or immersion blender. Give it a taste test and adjust seasoning to your preference.
- Meanwhile, Warm the cooking pot in saute mode and spread butter on both sides of the pav. Heat up Pav on each side until warm or to ur desired stage.
Serve besides bhaji, chopped onions, and lemon.
