Ingredients
Boiled basmati rice – 1 ½ cup
Pomegranate Seeds – 1 cup
Capsicum– 1/4 cup (chopped)
Carrot– 2 tbsp (chopped)
Onion– 1 (chopped)
Ginger garlic– 2 tsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 5
Bay leaf – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Saffron water – 2 tsp
Almond – 2 tsp (chopped)
Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 3 tsp
Steps
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, ginger garlic and sauté for a minute.
Next add onion, green chilli, carrot, capsicum and continue to sauté for few more minutes without overcooking the veggies.
Then add Pomegranate Seeds, black pepper powder and stir for 2-3 min. Add in boiled rice, saffron water, almond, salt one by one and mix well. Let it open cook for few minutes until they get combined with the rice.
Once done switch to ‘keep warm or off’ mode. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Pomegranate fried rice is ready to serve with a gravy of your choice
