Ingredients:
Unpopped corn kernels - 1/2 cup
Oil or ghee or butter - 2 to 3 tbsp
Flavoring agents:
Salt
Garlic powder
Turmeric powder
Red chilli powder
Paprika
Onion powder
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Steps:
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil or ghee or butter to the inner cooking pot, wait for it to melt completely. Now add corn kernels & stir well for the kernels to get coated with oil or ghee or butter.
- Let it sit undisturbed for 30 more secs and then stir once again. Now just place the lid over the pot. No need to lock it to ‘Close’ position.
- Corn kernels will start to pop. Cook for 4 to 5 mins. You can also lift the inner pot out and shake it well before returning it to the unit. Do not shake the whole unit itself.
- Press the ‘Cancel’ button to stop the ‘Saute’ mode. Wait for 1 or 2 mins to let the heat of the pan to finish popping up all the kernels. Remove the lid and tip the popcorn into a large bowl.
- Sprinkle salt & any other flavoring agents of your choice and shake well to distribute evenly.
Serve this popcorn hot to enjoy over a movie.
