Prawns Pulav

For Marination
Prawns -300 gms
Haldi - ½ tsp
Agri red masala -3 tsp
Corriander powder – 1tsp
Jeera powder - ½ tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic and chilli paste - (20 garlic cloves, 1.5 inch ginger, 4 green chillies)
Salt - To taste
lime (juice) - 1
For Cooking
Rice – one cup
Oil - 4 tsp
small cinamon stick - 1
bay leaves - 2
dry red chillies 2
cardamon - 2
One sliced onion - 1
tomato- 1
coconut milk- 1 cup
Chopped coriander leaves - Handful
garam masala powder – 1 tsp
water 1& half glass
fried onion slices - 2
Salt as per taste
Mix all the ingredients mentioned under marination and marinate the prawns. Mix well and keep aside for 3 hrs. Wash the rice properly and keep aside for 40 mins
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it warm a bit. Add cinamon stick, bay leaves, dry chillies, cardamon and saute for 1-2 mins. Then add tomato, onions and continue sauting for 3 mins.
Add marinated prawns, coconut milk, chopped coriender leaves, garam masala and mix well. Now add the soaked rice, water, fried onion, salt and stir well.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Pulav’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give it a good stir
Zesty prawns pulav is ready to serve.
