Quinoa -1 cup
Carrot - 1/2 cup chopped
Onion -1/2 cup chopped
Salt to taste
Peas - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 Tbsp
Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
Pepper pods - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - handful
Sprouts - 1/2 cup
Ginger - few julienne
Green chillies - 2 small slit
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Water - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Ghee to the inner cooking pot and wait for few sec to get heated. Now add Cumin seeds & wait till they splutter. Now add the Ginger, Green Chillies, Pepper pods, Curry leaves and stir for 2-3 minutes.
Now add Onions, Carrots, Peas & Sprouts and saute for 2- 5 minutes.
Add Salt, Garam Masala and Quinoa. Add water so that it soaks all the ingredients.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Pongal Menu option with taste as Quick option.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the Cooker and choose the Saute option. Stir the Khichdi and garnish with Coriander leaves.
