Ragi powder – 2-3 Tbps
Anjeer paste – 2 Tbps
Ghee – 5 Tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Sugar ( optional as Anjeer will give sweetness)
Cashew nuts – 1/2 cup finely chopped
Water – 1 cup
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 3Tbsp Ghee into the Cooking pot. Then add Cashewnuts, Cardamom powder and roast them in Saute for about 2-3 minutes.
Then add the Anjeer paste and continue to roast for another 2-3 minutes.
In a seperate bowl, mix Ragi powder with Water such that it does not form any lumps.
Now pour this mixture into the Cooking pot and stir for about 1 minute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Manual mode from the Menu option with Quick taste option and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Take a plate and grease with 2 Tbsp of Ghee.
Open the Cooker and choose the Saute option. Stir the mixture and then tranfer the mixture into this greased plate. Cut into small pieces when warm and roll into desired shape.
Allow the Burfi to cool down completely & this Fibre rich Ajneer Burfi is all set to be enjoyed !
