Ragi Cupcakes

Ragi flour – ½ cup
Maida – 1 cup
Baking powder – 1tsp
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Cocoa powder – ½cup
Sugar – 1cup
Eggs – 3
Milk – ½ cup
Melted butter – 1 cup
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Water – 5 cups
Baking equipment – Cupcake moulds
We start by making the Cake mix ready. In a seperate bowl mix the Ragi flour, Maida, Baking powder, Baking soda, cocoa powder.
Then beat the Eggs & sugar. Finally add the melted butter and milk.
Pour this batter into Cup cake moulds.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Now pour 5 cups of water into the Cooking pot and continue in Saute mode till the water gets warm.
Now keep these Cup cake moulds on a small inverted steel vessel inside the Robocook so that the heat is not direct on to the baking tray.
Choose Pongal mode in the Menu option and Taste option as Strong.Increase the timer to 30 minutes.
Close the Robocook. Keep the Presssure Nozzle in the Open position while cooking.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the Cooker and remove the Cup cake. Now allow it to cool to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Enjoy these delicious Cupcakes alone or top it with your favourite topping to add that extra flavor.
