Rajma - 1cup
Cooking Oil – 2Tbsp
Onion – 2 big chopped into big pieces
Green Chillies- 2 slit into pieces
Tomato – 1 big
Ginger – 1 inch
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Garlic – 4 to 5
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Rajma Masala – 1 tsp
Spring Onion for garnishing
Salt to taste
Water – 2 cups
Soak the Rajma overnight.
Make a paste of Onions/Tomatoes/Ginger and Garlic.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil to the Cooking pot. Add the ground paste and saute for about 3-5 minutes till the raw smell disappears.
Add Turmeric powder, Red chilly powder, Rajma Masala and give it a stir. Now add Rajma and stir in the spices. Finally add the water. You can add more water if you want a watery gravy. Cancel the Saute mode.
Press the ‘Dal/Chana pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods. Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
Switch to Sauté mode and stir a bit. Add chopped Spring Onion and stir a bit.
Enjoy this memory boosting gravy with rice or Chapathi.
