Ingredients
Sev TamatarTomatoes – 5 finely chopped
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Ginger – 1&1/2inch( finely chopped)
Turmeric powder – 1/4tsp
Chilli powder – 1&1/2tsp
Coriander powder – 1tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Cooking Oil – 4tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar – 1-2 tsp
Nylon sev – 100gms
Curry leaves – handful
Water – 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves – for garnishing
Steps
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil into the Cooking pot. Add Mustard seeds and wait till they splutter.
Add Asafoetida, Ginger, Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Cumin powder and Curry leaves.
Next add the chopped tomatoes and saute for a minute. well. Add salt and sugar as per taste. Stir well. Finally add water.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Sambhar pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Sauté mode and give a good stir to remove any excess moisture. Then add the Nylon sev and Coriander for garnishing.
Serve with hot chapathis to make it a crispy meal.
