Chicken – 500gms
Green Cardamom – 5
Cumin seeds – 1/3 tsp
Cloves – 6
White Pepper powder– 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Onion sliced – 1 Cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chillies – 2
Almonds(boiled) – 7
Cashews – 9
Garam Masala Powder – 1 Tsp
Yoghurt – 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice – 2 Tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Add chicken in a bowl, pour some lemon juice, salt, yoghurt and mix it well using your hands and marinate chicken for 30 minutes. ( if u want you can marinate chicken for overnight).
Make a paste of Almond and Cashews by adding water in the blender.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add 2 tbsp oil or ghee to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add onion and saute until it turns slightly brown. Transfer and cool down a bit.
Now make a paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green peppers using the blender.
Add some oil to the cooking pot on saute mode and Cumin seeds, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, white peppers powder and saute well.
Next add the blended paste and sauté for few minutes until oil floats on the surface.
Now add the marinated chicken and stir. As the chicken cook and oil comes over the top, add almond cashew paste and saute it for another 2 min. Sprinkle garam masala powder.
Add 1 ½ cup water to tender the chicken with green chili. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Non Veg – Chicken’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking.
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 8 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Garnish with ginger slices with roti, nan or rice.
