Ingredients
Soya granules – 1 cup
Chana dal – 1 cup
Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Onion chopped – 1
Green chillies chopped – 4
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Chat masala – 1 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 5 tbsp
Steps
- Firstly soak chana dal and soya granules separately for 1 hour. Then take soaked soya granule and squeeze out any water that is left.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil to the inner cooking pot and add soya granules, soaked chana dal, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, green chillies, chat masala, salt and saute for 2 min on saute mode.
- Next add 1 cup water and mix it well. Press cancel to stop saute.
- Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
- Press the ‘dal/chana’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
- After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 20 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
- Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
- Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give it a good mix and keep aside.
- Next add all cooked chana dal and soya mixture in grinder to make coarse paste. Add bread crumbs, onion, coriander leaves and mix it very well.
- Take small part and make kabab with using your hands or any cutlet shaper.
- Clean the pot and press cancel to stop saute. Add oil into inner cooking pot and once oil is nicely hot add kababs and shallow fry it from both sides.
- Once done Switch off the unit.
- Enjoy crunchy soya kabab with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
