Ingredients:
Soya granules - 200 gms
Onion – 2 Nos
Garlic – 8 cloves
Ginger – 1 Inch
Tomato - 2 Nos
Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
Jeera Powder – 1 Tsp
Dhaniya powder – 1 Tbsp
Garam Masala powder – 1 Tbsp
Cooking Oil – 50 gms
Kasuri Methi- 1 Tbsp
Coriander leaves - few
Salt to taste
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tbsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Star Anise – 2 Nos
Cloves – 4 Nos
Steps:
Soak Soya granules with 1 tsp salt in hot water for 10 minutes After 10 minutes squeeze off the water from the granules and keep aside.
Make ginger, garlic paste and finely chop the onions.Make tomato puree.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Oil to the inner cooking pot and let it warm a bitand temper with Cinnamon, star anise, Cloves and Cumin seeds. Saute for few secs.
Then add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté for 3 minutes. Add turmeric, Chilli, Jeera, Dhaniya, Garam masala powders one by one and saute till the oil separates.
Next add tomato puree and saute for 2 minutes. Add in squeezed soya granules along with 100 ml of water. Stir well and press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium and set 5 min timer. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 5 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARMmode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Add Kasuri methi leaves and garnish with coriander leaves.
Mix well before serving it with Rottis or Phulkas.
