Spicy Chicken karahi

Chicken – ½ kg
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cinnamon – 2 stick
Cardamom – 2 no
Cloves – 2 no
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Tomato – 3 no chopped
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
Green chilli – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Kasuri methi – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves – ¼ handful chopped
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and saute for few seconds. Then add chicken pieces and saute for few minutes. Further add ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well.
Now add tomato (cut into half) cover the lid for 5 minutes (for soften the tomato). Then open the lid and remove the skin of tomato and smash the tomato along with chicken.
Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, curd one by one and mix well until they gets combined. Sprinkle some water. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Chicken’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 20 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Press saute and add coriander leaves, kasuri methi, cream and stir well and allow it to cook for 2 minutes. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Serve the spicy chicken karahi with chapati.
