Raw Rice – 1 1/2 Cups
Moong Dal – 50 grams
Jaggery – 400 gms
Milk – Half litre
Powdered Cardamom – 10 gms
Ghee – 100 grams
Cashew nut – 25 grams
Raisins – 25 grams
Powder cardamom in mixie jar along with little sugar for a fine powder
Pour 1 glass of hot water in roughly pieced Jaggery and dilute it.
The consistency of Jaggery water should be thick.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button.
Select Medium as Taste.
Select SAUTE option and heat 1 Tbsp ghee. Roast cashew nuts and Raisins and keep aside.
Wash Raw rice & Moong Dal & add in the remaining ghee. Saute for 2 minutes.
Add 3 cups of water, half litre milk & cardamom powder.
Select Pongal/Kitchdi Option.
It will be ready in 15 minutes. Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure. Ensure the pressure is released completely.
Add the Diluted Jaggery water into it and select SAUTE option for 2 minutes and mix it well.
