Potato -1/2 Kg
Tomato- 4Nos
Green chillies – 2 Nos
Lemon juice – 1 Lemon
Red Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 Tbsp
Cumin powder-1 Tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 Tsp
Cooking Oil – 50gms
Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds- 1 Tsp
Salt – as required
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Steps:
Add ripened tomatoes to a blender and make puree out of it.Wash and cut the potatoes into two halves.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Add the potatoes with 100 ml of water to the inner cooking pot.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Idly’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 10 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Press cancel.
Remove and cool down the potatoes completely. Peel off the skin and mash it coarsely.Keep aside.
Clean the pot and select saute option. Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit.
Add mustard, cumin seeds and let it splitter.
Next add green chillies, tomato puree and sauté for few minutes. Add Turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder one by one and mix well until they combine
Finally add mashed potatoes, salt to taste,lemon juice, coriander leaves and open cook for few mins. Mix well and switch to Keep warm or Off mode.
Tastes best with phulka or rotti.
