Ulli Chicken

Onion – 5 big cut into julienne pieces
Tomato – 1 cut into julienne pieces
Coconut Cooking Oil – 5 Tbsp
Chicken – 1 Kg
Chilli Powder (Kashmiri) – 2 Tbsp
Lemon Extract – 1 Tsp
Salt – Add to taste
Ginger – 1 Medium Size
Garlic – 4 to 5 Cloves
Cinnamon – 1 small piece
Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
Chilli Powder (Kashmiri) – 2 Tbsp
Pepper Powder – 1 Tbsp
Water – ¼ cup
Coconut Oil & Curry Leaves – To Garnish
Salt to taste
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Switch on the RoboCook pressure cooker, and click on Saute mode.
Add Cooking oil 5 tbsps & let it warm a bit. Add 3 Onions and deep fry them for about 5-7 minutes.Then set them aside.
Next add 2 Tbsp Coconut oil and let it warm a bit. Now saute the balance 2 Onions for about 3-4 minutes so that it becomes transparent, light brown in color
To the above add the Ground mixture and saute for 2 minutes.
Now add half the portion of deep fried onion ( that we had kept aside earlier), 1 Tomato (Julienne Cut) and the marinated chicken to this and sauté again for 1 minute
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Choose the Menu as Chicken mode with taste as Quick option.
Pre-Cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be heard and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Open the cooker and switch to Sauté mode. Now garnish with remaining fried onions, 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil and curry leaves. Mix thoroughly.
