Vegetable Makhanwala

For the Paste:
Oil- 1 tsp
Cumin- ½ tsp
Tomatoes-2
Cashew Nuts- 10
Ginger Garlic Paste- ½ tsp
Other ingredients:
Cumin- ½ tsp
Bay Leaf-1
Butter- 2 tsp
Capsicum-1
Carrot-1
Beans- 10
Green Peas- ¼ cup
Red Chilli Powder- ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder- ½ tsp
Garam Masala- ½ tsp
Salt- To Taste
Sugar- ½ tsp
Water- 2 cups
Kasoori Methi- 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves- a few
Chop the vegetables.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add cumin, ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and saute well. Once mushy and cool transfer it to a blender. Add cashew nuts and grind well adding little water.
Clean the pot and add butter, cumin bay leaf.and saute for secs. Then add chopped vegetables- carrot, capsicum, beans, peas one by one and saute well.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, sugar and continue to saute.Next add in the ground paste and two cups of water. Stir well. Press cancel to stop saute.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Idly ’pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give a quick stir and add crushed kasoori methi and chopped coriander leaves.
Top it with butter and serve appeasing Vegetable Makhanwala with rottis.
