Vegetable Pulav

Cooking Oil - 2 Tbsp
Ghee - 2 Tbsp
Bay Leaf - 2
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 4
Star Anise - 1
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 Tbsp
Cashewnuts - 5
Onion - 1 big cut into julienne
Carrot - 1/2 cup chopped
Potato - 1/2 cup chopped
Green Chillies - 2
Green Peas - 1/4 cup
Basmati Rice - 1 cup soaked for 20 minutes
Salt to taste
Spinach - 1/2 cup chopped
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup chopped
Coriander leaves - chopped
Water - 1&1/2 cup
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil & Ghee to the Cooking pot. Add Bay Leaf,Cardamom, Cloves, Star Anise, Cinnamon and stir.
Now add Onions, Green Chillies, Cashewnuts,Ginger Garlic paste and stir.
Add Carrots, Potatoes, Green Peas and stir for about 2 mintes.
Next add Spinach, Salt, Turmeric powder and continue in Saute mode for about 5 minutes.
Lastly add Basmati Rice and water and stir well. Cancel the Saute mode.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘RICE pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods. Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
Switch to Sauté mode. Add Coriander leaves for garnishing. Enjoy this all colorful Vegetable Pulao with Raitha.
