Ingredients
Potato (boiled & grated) 2 -
Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
Chilli flakes ½ tsp
Cheddar cheese (grated) -3tsp
Mixed herbs- ½ tsp
Pepper (crushed) -¼ tsp
Salt- to taste
Chat masala -½ tsp
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) – 2tsp
Bread crumbs- ¼ cup
Corn flour- ¼ cup
Pepper -(crushed)
Bread crumbs – 1cup
Salt -¼ tsp
Water- ¼ cup
Oil – as required
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl add boiled potato, cheddar cheese, ginger garlic paste, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, pepper, chaat masala, salt and coriander leaves.
- Mix well making sure the spices are combined well. Now add ¼ cup bread crumbs and combine well. Breadcrumbs helps to absorb moisture and prevent from breaking in oil.
- Prepare corn flour batter by mixing cup corn flour, pepper, salt and water. Prepare a smooth flowing consistency batter.
- Pinch a small ball sized potato dough and roll to cylindrical shape. Dip in corn flour batter covering all sides, then roll in bread crumbs.
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Deep fry the balls till it turns golden and crisp. Finally, drain over kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
- Serve potato snack with tomato sauce.
