Ingredients
Oil - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 4 tbsp (chopped)
Ginger - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Green chillies - 1 tsp (chopped)
Vegetable stock - 1 litres (Readymade)
Cabbage - 1 cup (chopped)
French beans - 5 (chopped)
Carrot - 1 (chopped)
Capsicum- 1 (chopped)
Baby Corn – 1 (chopped)
Dark soya sauce – 3 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Corn starch - 3 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Steps
Add corn-starch, water to a bowl and make corn-starch slurry.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Add garlic, ginger, green chillies and sauté till the raw smell goes.
Now add Vegetable Stock, cabbage, french beans, carrot, capsicum, baby corn one by one and sauté for few mins.
Next add dark soya sauce, black pepper powder, sugar and continue to mix for few more mins. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘CLOSE’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Manual’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and set timer for 20 mins. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 20 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Press sauté option.
Add corn starch slurry to the soup and cook until it becomes thick. Finally garnish with spring onion greens. Once done, switch to keep warm or off mode.
Hot and spicy Manchow Soup is ready to serve with bread sticks.
