Soupy Noodles with Roasted Chicken & Mushroom

Chicken pieces (skin on) – 5
Garlic – 5 peeled and chopped into small pieces
Peri Peri seasoning – 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 Tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 2 Tbsp
Cooking Oil – 2 Tbsp
Onion – 1 big chopped into big pieces
Mushroom – 100gm, cut into big pieces
Pepper powder- 2 tsp
Peri peri masala – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Corn flour – 1 Tbsp
Cooked plain noodles – 1 cup
Water- 1 cup
Fresh Cream – 2 Tbsp
Keep the Chicken pieces apart and smear all the ingredients marked under Marination on the Chicken pieces and leave for 30 minutes.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press The Saute' Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add Cooking Oil to the Cooking pot. Add the Marinated Chicken pieces & let it slightly fry till you can see the sides getting a bit crisp. This will take about 3- 5 minutes on the Saute mode.
Remove the fried Chicken pieces from the pot and keep aside. Next add Onions and fry them for about 3 minutes in Saute mode.
Now add the chopped Mushrooms and stir. Add salt, Pepper powder and Peri peri masala and saute for 3-5 minutes. You will see the Mushrooms slightly shrink in size.
Now add the fried Chicken and 1/2 cup of water. Cancel the Saute mode.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Chicken pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods. Now TWIST and Open the cooker.
Switch to Sauté mode in the cooker and stir a bit. Add Fresh cream and stir. Dilute Corn flour with water and add to the soup. Stir for about a minute.
Finally add cooked noodles and give it a good stir for about half a minute.
Enjoy this soupy noodles alone or with Soupsticks.
