Ingredients
Boiled corn – 1 and 1/2 cups
Onion finely chopped – 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic chilli paste – 1/2 tbsp
Paneer – 6-7 cubes (1 inch cube/mash)
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
Corn starch – 1/8 cup
All purpose flour – 1/8 cup
Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp
Chat masala – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tbsp
Black paper powder – 1 pinch
Oil for fry – 1 cup
Steps
- Coarsely grind the corn kernels and keep aside
- Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
- Add oil inside the inner pot and let it heat a bit.Once the oil is sufficiently hot, add garlic, ginger and green chillies paste and saute till the the raw smell goes.
- Next add the chopped onion and saute for another 3 min. Add the ground up corn, salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, chat masala and saute till the corn lose its raw smell and some moisture.
- Switch to off mode and let the mixture cool off.Next add about 1/4 cup bread crumbs and mix it well with using hands.
- Take a glob of the mixture and make a small cup of it with your palms and stuff the cube of paneer in it. Wrap the paneer and mould it into the shape of an balls/lollipop.
- Next mix the corn starch ans all purpose flour with water to make a very thin batter. Spread the rest of the bread crumbs onto a platter.
- Roll the lollipop in the batter and then in the bread crumbs so that it gets uniformly coated on all sides.
- Clean the pot and set manual time for 20 min. Then add oil into pot and wait for few minutes.
- Once oil is nicely hot drop lollipop into a pot of hot oil and fry them until they are golden brown on all sides and drain them into some paper towels.(swich to off mode)
- Next stick some ice cream sticks or skewers into them and they are ready to be served.
- Serve corn lollipop with some Mint chutney and enjoy.
