Ingredients:
For Kofta
Chicken minced / chicken keema
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Green chilli finely chopped – 1
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Gram flour – 1 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 cup
For Biryani
Basmati rice boiled – 2 cups
Ghee/ oil – 1/2 cup
Green chili slit – 2
Onions finely sliced – 3
Ginger garlic paste – 3 tbsp
Tomatoes finely - 2 chopped
Yogurt beaten – 2 cup
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander power – 2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Cinnamon – 1
Cardamoms – 2
Cloves - 2
Shahi jeera – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Mint leaves – 1/2 cup
Steps
Mix chicken minced / chicken keema, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, gram flour, salt, oil and knead well. Refrigerate this mixture for 1 hour.
Later remove it from the fridge and make small lemon - sized balls. Keep aside.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Once oil is hot deep fry meatballs until it turns golden brown. Transfer the fried balls to a bowl and keep aside.
In same pot add the bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, shahi jeera and green chili. Add onions and saute until it turns translucent.
Add the ginger garlic paste and continue to saute for 2min. Further add in red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, tomato. Mix well and cook until the tomatoes turn mushy.
Then add yogurt and stir well to prevent the yogurt from curdling. Toss the prepared koftas at this point and give it stir. Cook for 3 min.
Later add lemon juice, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Stir well.Now add rice to the gravy. Do not mix. Add a teaspoon of ghee on top of it. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Biryani’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Medium. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 15 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give a quick stir.
